If an examination (OMR/Written) is conducted as the first phase of selection a short list/probability list will be published on the basis of marks secured in the examination and the number of candidates to be included in the list will be decided by the commission later.
The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and those that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
6. Age : 20-40, Candidates born between 02.01.1971 & 01.01.1991 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates.

7.Qualifications:-
1. Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology or any other qualification recognised by Government as equivalent there to with not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Eight years experience in Engineering Profession of which at least three years should be teaching experience in the subject as lecturer not below diploma level in recognised /approved institution.
Note– i) Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology obtained after under going a regular course of study for not less than 3 years with 60%marks in the qualifying examinations and a pass in section A and B of AMIE will be considered as equivalent to degree in Information Technology.
ii) In the case of first or second-class Post Graduate degree holders in Engineering/Technology prescribed 60% marks in the concerned branch for the basic degree will not be insisted upon.
The total marks of all the years/semesters of the course in which University Examinations are conducted shall be taken into account in calculating the 60% marks
iii) Percentage of marks obtained for the above-mentioned examinations, details of experience & name of the branch of the course should be furnished in the column prescribed for noting qualification for the post in the application form.
iv) Experience claimed by the candidates shall be the one gained after acquiring the basic qualification for the post. [Candidates should produce experience certificate in the format appended below.] (Please see next page.)
v) The veracity of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus certificate will be subjected to legal proceedings. The experience certificate obtained from private institutions shall be got countersigned by an authorized officer of the state/central Govt.
8. Applications shall be submitted by On-line only. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the Website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz., www.keralapsc.org.
No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Application which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.

11. If a Written Test/OMR Test is conducted as part of the selection, halltickets of eligible candidates will be made available in the Website of Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates are instructed to download their halltickets as per the instructions given in the Website.
